KBH FINE ART, NEW YORK.

KBH Fine Art exhibition, August 2022, East Hampton, New York. Henrietta Graham and KBH directors Bonnie Bergstein and Kurt Giehl.

Henrietta Graham signed to KBH fine Art, New York in June 2022.

Kurt Giehl and Graham exhibited together for the first time in August at The prestigious Art Market in East Hampton.

During 2022 Henrietta Graham has been travelling between the UK and New York to work with

with renowned artist Kurt Giehl

Working from Giehls studio in East Hampton, Graham explains-

‘Kurt and I are very different painters but there are countless unifying factors to both our lives and work. He has also become a close friend and I owe him a huge debt of gratitude to have worked  from his studio this year. Both East Hampton and where I am based in Newlyn, Cornwall are fishing communities with an artistic legacy. In the UK - The Newlyn School, Stanhope Forbes, Henry Tuke, Dame Laura Knight, Dame Barbara Hepworth etc. and indeed The Tate St. Ives - the list is long and in East Hampton - Edward Hopper, Elaine de Kooning, Eric Fischl, and Jackson Pollock to name a few. I look forward to spending more time with Kurt and in New York.’Like Graham, Giehl has a very strong relationship to the fishing industry- his husband Jeff Ragovin is an avid fisherman and director of South Fork Sea Farmers in East Hampton.

South Fork is on a mission to educate and raise awareness of the importance of sustainable and marine aquaculture and to inspire constructive action programs.
